Piano technique and exercises

1. Piano Hand Position Exercises by Olga Egorova: Be empowered to play more expressively with less effort and injury-preventive technique.

"Humpty - Dumpty" - This exercise helps the students to feel the weight of the hand and gravity. The tension of the muscles goes into complete relaxation. The child understands, than one differs from another and focuses on that hands have weight. This will in the future avoid fixing the arm at the elbow and lifting the shoulders.

Ear training and musical dictation

1. Guess Key^® play the game for 3-4 minutes, and stop by pressing the F1 key. Always write the score down!
