Piano Exercises

1. Play Hanon #4 with separate hands and say the names of the notes/keys

2. Try to do the same exercise by playing the Hanon #4 with both hands

Music Theory

Circle 2.

Notes can be positioned skipping a step.

This sequence of thirds orients the second cycle.

This helps to see and read a music staff where notes are positioned either on lines, or in the spaces between them. Here, the structure includes triads and sevenths, making reading much more simple.

Learn to say all the rows of the circle 2 fast and make audio/video recording of doing this for your progress diary.

Chords and ear training

ImageGentle Piano® Module and find Solfeggio Chords 1 Major C 1.0

Open the folder and find the pieces Train, Millet, My cat purrs:

Press 6 and s to listen to the piece on the traditional presentation

Press 1 or 3 L to play the piece by your left hand

Press 'LH" to hide all the notes of the left hand and play the chords of the piece by ear.

Make little to no mistakes with minimum time lag.

Do not forget to write the score down in your progress diary.

Practice Sight-Reading Pieces

Play with separate and both hands on 5.

Record the scores.
