Just Amazing!

One of my kids has taken piano lessons for few months before we decided to get the SM, the reason I bought it is the traditional method of learning focus mostly on the note reading but less emphasis on the ear training and the harmonize. That is what I concern since I learned from the traditional way when I was a kid and lacks of the ability to play by ear.

Without the sheet music, you seemed like illiterate. It's definitely Not what I want for my kids!! I'm not saying traditional way is bad but we should get the remedies for those incompetence to get the most of it. Soft way comes to my answer. I can't say enough for the program, it is cleverly well-rounded curriculum and included almost every aspect of music training; like note-reading, hands coordination, sight reading, ear training, and more....I just wish I should have bought it when my kids were still toddler.

This program is such a great learning tool for music, it keeps my 5 year old's attention with the animations and bright colors. It truly does make learning the piano fun. He has been playing the sample "Ode to Joy", and was able to pick it up quite easily, a big confidence booster and motivator since he could already start playing a song in such a

short time! Set up was simple as well.

Ever wanted to learn piano?

This is a wonderful product. It really does teach you to play piano and much more. Start at any age from 2 to 102! You get a year of full program access and online help with ANY problems or questions. Great for absolute beginners and those with some knowledge!

Finally an alternative to piano lessons that make kids wanting more!

Before we found this software we were looking for a piano teacher who would help our children not only learn , we wanted them to love piano since we thought that was the only way they would stick to it. We never found one. After two weeks of having this software my 6 year old can't have enough, she comes back from school and sits for at least 30 minutes to practice by herself, and later in the day we have our "formal" 30 minute class. She is now using good finger positions playing several of the introductory songs with both hands. My two older kids who in the beginning didn't want to take lessons with me, are now seating at the piano to play by themselves as if they were playing a video game. As an added bonus I'm also learning piano along with my daughter. The included lesson plan is very helpful and detailed.
