Why Thousands Of Smart Parents All Over The World Choose Soft Mozart For Their Children
CHILDREN PROGRESS MUCH FASTER THAN WITH TRADITIONAL LESSONS
If you have your student in traditional lessons, you know that it takes forever for them to make recognizable progress. This is demotivating for the child and is often the major reason students resist practicing. It doesn't get them anywhere.
STUDENTS STAY MOTIVATED WITHOUT CONSTANT NAGGING TO PRACTICE
Soft Mozart games provide multiple visual clues to the student so that the student can assess his own progress. Because the student is able to make large leaps in just a few minutes, success becomes it's own motivator. The student begins to compete against the most important person at the keyboard - herself.
RAPID PROGRESS AT ONE THIRD THE COST OF TRADITIONAL LESSONS
Faster progress for less money - who doesn't want to take their hard earned money and spent it more wisely? But it's not just about the money. Those traditional lessons cost more of your time. The travel back and forth to piano lessons, the time you spend nagging, and the time you spend re-motivating and negotiating with your child, and the slow, slow progress. The opportunity costs are often the highest. Traditional piano lessons are expensive all the way around and many times, you have very little to show for it.
WORLD CLASS MUSIC EDUCATION AT THE SOFT MOZART ACADEMY
Providing an exceptional music education to your children is outside the realm of possibility for most families. The is the expense, the competition to get in, and then even if your child does get in, you have to relocate. Soft Mozart Academy, which is included, brings a Russian music education into your home. And we make it as easy as, yes, pushing play.

What People Are Saying...
Soft Mozart is a great find for children, parents and teachers.
From the very first lesson, it enables a student to actually start playing the piano. This is as true for a child as it is for an adult, who has dreamed of playing the piano but was unable to do so in childhood. The program is truly unique. It distinctly and clearly presents all core components that are required for playing a musical instrument, including: musical alphabet, rhythm, introduction to and familiarity with the keyboard, sight reading in both the treble and bass clefs, coordination of the fingers and hands.
Gentle Piano Games combines all these skills into one.The learning material is colorful and accessible, which allows a child to absorb it intuitively.
Both my daughters and each of my little students love learning new songs. They also continue to perfect these pieces, in an effort to 'win' against a computer, a teacher or a parent.
Parents and the students can see and enjoy the small victories that, with regular practice, turn into great achievements.

I Should Have Listened To Hellene...
“I've had Soft Mozart for years and I used to run a daycare. All my kids started piano when they were toddlers, even the ones with special needs like Down Syndrome. All I have to do is push play and let them learn. That is the joy. I don't teach. I just have to let them learn. And they do and they want to. Isn't that what we should be creating - kids who want to learn?”

Why I Love Soft Mozart
What every piano teacher loves to see is when a student runs into her studio, jumps on a keyboard to show eagerly what he/she learned during the week. That is the true testimony to the Soft Mozart program. In fact, when there is more than one student in a family, they have to decide with “rock, paper, scissors” to determine who goes first! That’s the excitement and enthusiasm they have about learning with the Soft Mozart Program.

Soft Mozart and the Soft Mozart Academy is designed to take a student from toddler, we recommend age 2, to an advanced learner. The songs library contains 9 levels of difficulty. Completion of the Soft Mozart Academy is the equivalent of a 4 year music degree in the Russian tradition.
Students interact directly with the Grand Staff and are able to make sense of it. In addition, students are in control of their own learning. We keep track of timing and correct notes played out of total notes, so students are able to see even the smallest progress. This creates internal motivation. We are constantly training the eyes, hand-eye co-ordination, both hands co-ordination, and attention span.
Over 700 carefully selected music pieces in the library with more added all the time. These pieces were chosen not just for their beauty or popularity, but to also nurture finger management and muscianship. Piano Key Guides insure that even toddlers can find the right keys.
Absolutely. Course work and lessons are provided for 9 months of study per year. If your student keeps a progress diary, and a music notebook, you will have enough documentation for both primary and secondary education credits. Soft Mozart provides certificates of completion for each level of the academy.
We're not like everyone else. If we were like everyone else, we'd get the results everyone else gets. We believe there is something wrong with all forms of music education and it starts with motivation and memory. New learners only have so much short term memory available to them. In the beginning, students are learning to focus, they have to learn the geography of the piano. they need to interact with the Grand Staff. Why this emphasis on proper fingering? Someone will say, "So that they student doesn't have to go back and relearn it." Ahh, you mean like when publishers put out new piano books with all new fingering? Hands grow with age. Learners become more adept at fingering as they become more comfortable on the piano. We let students work that out for themselves. And they do. We give them exercises that develop finger management in a way that works for their hands. Besides, if your student becomes dependent on the teacher or book for proper fingering, how will they ever pick up a piece of music and just play if the proper fingering isn't written out for them?
It is a myth that beginners MUST start with the piano in order to develop correctly. This myth originated from the elitism and conservatism of modern piano education that focused only on raising of a few concert performers. In reality, playing on any other musical instrument, including the piano keyboard, can only improve the piano performance of your child. We recommend that children start learning the piano with the piano keyboard. The regular piano is very physically challenging for beginners, because it requires physical strength along with advanced coordination and perfect orientation on the piano keys. The majority of problems with piano techniques start with the lack of confidence in beginners. When the student has built his eye-hand-fingers coordination by playing on the piano keyboard, the task of mastering the "hard touch" of the real piano is much easier to handle. Freedom and flexibility appear gradually with the confidence of the student. Mozart started with the harpsichord, when he was three, it has the touch of a modern keyboard. It didn't hurt him at all!
